On Monday, January 10, the students of Musasa Primary School and Bughungu Primary School returned to class after a nearly two-year absence. They have been tuning in to their classes on the radio, so it’s been challenging to say the least! No fancy Zooming on-line classes for these kids. Joseph tells me the first child arrived at 6:52am! Eager? You think?
Teachers have all been vaccinated, but vaccines are in short supply here, so it’s hard to say when the kids will get their jabs. And here, “social distancing” is an alien concept so… we’ll just have to see how it goes, and hope for the best.
