The Grade 7 students board at the school while they study for their very important Primary Leaving Exam (PLE) that takes place every November. Residing at the school during the week saves them so much time walking between school and home every day. Until these residences were built, the students would bed down on the floor in one of the classrooms, but now they will have their own private sleeping and study space. Construction began in 2017, and the final touches were added in early 2019: bunk beds and mosquito nets. The girls look pretty happy with the current situation.

The boys were feeling just a little jealous, so we got to work on a residence for them next.
